Hello! Welcome to a new academic year here at UCI!
This is also a new start for the blog following some reworking of what I want to do with it.
I had previously posted new books on a regular basis, but this became too time consuming to be practical–I’d rather put my time into ordering the books you need and assisting you with your research. New book lists are now available by subject as a website or RSS feed at http://www.lib.uci.edu/collections/new-collections.html. You can bookmark the pages you want or subscribe to a feed. I have also linked those feeds onto my subject guides. I may see if there is a way to feed them onto this blog site as well.
The focus of this blog will shift to announcements of new resources and reminders of ones that we have had for a while that you may have overlooked. I will also post library news, tips for grad students, etc. Posting frequency will probably be closer to once a month, though there will be a small flurry in the next couple of weeks as I make beginning of the year announcements.
